  1. Theresa, I e-mailed you earlier about my father being a part of Blue Train. I usually have access to my Blue Train book, but put it away during Christmas. I thought the 16th photo tech unit sounded familiar. I do see my father’s name on this list. It is William H. Higdon. Contact me at your convenience. Thanks!

    • I just found your website! My dad was William Crow of Gilmer, TX. It is William, not Willian. I have a Blue Train book. My dad passed away in 1995, but I have always wondered if any of the others are still around and if there is more information out there about their time there. I would love to take the book with me to Europe and retrace the Blue Train’s journey one day. My email is jkcoomes@verizon.net.

  4. My father-in-law was Norman P Sterner. He passed away in 2003. He was the 16th’s supply sergeant.

  5. Hello, I am an officer assigned to the 566th Intelligence Squadron (legacy squadron of the 16th Photographic Squadron) and I have been tasked with researching and building our squadron history. I would love to speak to any family members (or better yet, a surviving member) of those men listed above. Morale and pride within our squadron has diminished over time, and I am attempting to instill in our young Airmen the sense of military pride and accomplishment our squadron has gained over the years. You may contact me at joshua.reagan.5@us.af.mil. Thank you.
